Sittin in the big chair
Doug, Paisley and I headed to the Stake Center so Doug and I could get our Temple recommends renewed. Doug went in with the 2nd counselor as I waited for my turn. The Stake President came in and out of interviews and felt bad that I was still waiting so he pulled me into his office. Just as we were walking in, Doug and the 2nd counselor were walking out of the other office so we turned around and talked to them for a split second. Well, much to our surprise, when we turned back around to head into the Stake Presidents office.....Paisley was behind his desk, sitting in his chair ready to go. We all got a kick out of it. I love my little Pickle. At least she got a candy from the Stake President!

Paisley's cutest little personality
This little girl is so smart and so funny. Sometimes I'm left in awe at her comments and cuteness.
*Whenever I say, "ouch" or get hurt she'll ask, "You okay Mom?" I love it.
*Once when I was doing the dishes she pulled up a little chair and said, "Whatcha doin Mom?"
* I love that she loves to read books and will rest her little body against mine or rest her head on my shoulder.
*Sometimes in the mornings when I go to lay back in bed and snuggle up to Doug she'll come in mad that I left and say, "Come on mom- No lay by Dad!!"
*Once Doug and I were cuddling on the couch and she came over and asked, "What's wrong?" Can't Dad and I cuddle?
*Once in a while she'll push the bottom button on my phone and try to talk to Siri. She'll say, "Thomas the train!" So funny that she caught on to that. She can't get it to work but hilarious that she knows the trick.
* One time the oven beeped and she ran over to the microwave yelling, "Popcorn!" I felt so bad that it was just dinner and not popcorn.
* I love when I walk in her dark room and see her little toy kitchen light on like she had been trying to play in the dark.
* I love that she loves to sing and dance. She knows crazy songs like "Hear my Roar" by Katy Perry. She is so animated when she sings. It's hilarious.
*Once she was counting just as fast as she could...." 6-7-8-9-6-.." and I look over at her as she's staring up at the fan trying to count the blades as it goes round and round. It was so funny I died laughing.
*Whenever she sees a Utah flag or U symbol she'll yell, "Go Utes!" Doug and Paisley were in the supermarket and she saw a big dark man with a Utah shirt on and she started pointing and yelled, "Go Utes!" They all got quite a kick out of it.
* I was doing laundry and she saw me with her Utah jersey and her "animal sweater" because I was about to put them away but she threw a fit. She had to wear them. I let her choose ONE. She put the sweater on and even slept in it. Just her diaper and the sweater. When she was done with it she asked for her jersey. She'll sometimes ask for it out of nowhere! She loves to wear it along with her animal sweater. It's a little pink browning sweater with the browning symbol on the back.
*When we go to Scheels she loves to shoot the animals on that little $1 game. She'll yell, "Boom, boom!!" She'll aslo go over and pick up a little pink 22 and point it like she's shooting. It's hilarious.
She is her Dad's girl for sure!
*She loves to have her back scratched. She'll ask out of nowhere. Once I asked Doug when he was feeling down if he wanted me to scratch his back and she came over and said, "Scratch my back mom!" I loved it. She even fell asleep.
*When we were in the bathtub I was washing my hair under the tap so she decided to try it. When I told her it was my turn I was literally under for 2 seconds when she said, "My turn mom!" It was pretty funny.
* Once when she was watching a movie the disney castle came on and she said, "Temple!" Hahaha!
* I love when she says, "Oh boy!"
*She loves Ohmilk (Oatmeal)!
*She calls a blanket Blankek!
*She'll come over to me and tell me she's full and she'll hold her stomach. :)
*When I ask her where the baby is she knows to point to my belly but one day she pointed to hers and said "Baby!"
* When she's cold she tell me she's cold or else she'll say, "Nice and warm" like get me nice and warm mom like I say to her when we get her dressed when she gets out of the bathtub.
She is too much fun! I love you Paisley Jo!

Baby #2 is on the way!!!
Doug and I have been trying to have a baby since last November and we are now expecting baby #2. We are so excited. This pregnancy along with the last has been quite a trial but we are so grateful to have another baby. I am 15 weeks along and finally getting over the sick hump. We are so excited for our new little addition and can't wait for Paisley to have a friend.
Gifts from Aunt Mim
Aunt Mim was here and spoiled little Paisley. Look at this cute little pumpkin she bought for Pais to play with. Oh and don't let me forget to mention the millions of tiny spider rings! I'm still finding them everywhere! :)
Welcom Lizzy Lane
My sister Dani finally had her little baby! I'm way late posting this but had to anyway. The same day she was born a new store in St. George opened up called....."Lizzy Lane!" Crazy!
Unwanted Souveniers
I was going through my scrapbook stuff when I found this poor little lizard along with another little bug in my scrapbook bin. Gross! I guess this is what you get when you move from Florida. Poor little creature!

Riding the TRAX
Dad and Grandpa were headed to the game so we rode with so we could all hit the bookstore. Paisley loved riding the train and had a fun time sitting with Grandpa!
Just the 2 of us on our way back!
We spent the rest of the night with Aunt Kari. We ran to the grocery store and when we stepped outside Paisley thought it was raining. She has to wear her hood when she thinks it's raining, even though it actually was not.
Later that night we were talking to Aunt Kari in her car and this little Angel of mine fell asleep right in my arms. I love her so much!
The ringlet
Headed to he bathroom to do her hair but had to take a picture of her ringlets. This girls curly hair is unbelievable!
My little sewing partner
When I am sewing she likes to park it right next to me and steel all of my spools. I gave her a bunch of little ones and she thought it was so cool to stick them on each finger! She is so much fun!
My headwrap I made that she put on and her new little homemade skirt! Gotta love her! What a cute little model!
Grocery Stop
We went to Whole Foods with Aunt Kari and we let Paisley push a little shopping cart. I didn't realize where we were in the store when I was taking all these pictures. I got a lot of crap for all the beer in the background on the last picture. Hahaha! We were waiting for Aunt Kari to come out of the bathroom and supposedly that's right where the beer isle is!
Playing House
We stopped to check out a cute store I saw and it had a little play center for kids. Paisley was in heaven.

She is getting funnier and cuter every day!
Some more stories I have to share so I never EVER forget them.
Doug and I went to get a red box so we all jumped in the car but when Paisley realized she forgot her baby she started crying, "Baby!" I told her we would go get it after we were done and she said, "Baby sad!" It's like she really thinks her baby has real feelings and is sad she left her home! She actually reminds me of myself.
Paisley was in the bathtub after dinner and jumped out and ran for Aunt Kari. She held on tight to Kart and hugged her so I wouldn't get her. She also was crawling all over the floor like a little naked puppy dog. It was quite funny and had us laughing.
I was laying by Doug one morning after her and I had already gotten up but she came to find me and said, "No sleep with dad!" because she wanted me up!
Once we went in to wake dad up but he had morning breath so she said, "Dad poopy!"
Paisley was in the tub with me and and was getting out but I told her we weren't done so she stays sitting on the tub strattling the edge and starts singing, "Naki on on the loose, naki on the loose, oh my goodness a naki on the loose." {A song that's been in my family for years!}
She comes to me holding her baby in one hand and the babies head in the other only attached by wires and says, "Uh-oh mom!" Apparently those heads are held on by zip ties and it had broken. I was trying to rig a way to fix it until I bought a zip tie and the whole time Paisley was talking her baby through it saying, "Okay baby!" {like you're okay baby} I couldn't fix it without a zip tie so we had to put it up for the night and Paisley just cried saying, "Baby sad!"
We were about to eat dinner and look over to Paisley with her arms folded and eyes closed mumbling her own little prayer. Another proud mother moment!
When I get hurt Paisley will ask me, "You otay mom?" and of course I'll tell her yes. When she gets hurt she comes to me and says, "Better mom!" like kiss it better.
When we were laying in her bed trying to get her to sleep I said, "I love you Paisley!" She said, "I love you Pai-Mom!" She realized and corrected herself. Now she's good at it and says it perfect.
Sometimes she cries because she doesn't want to go to sleep. When I tell her I love her and she says it back to me while crying it's the cutest thing in the world.
When we say a prayer before dinner she will shove food in her mouth while praying during the prayer. It's so funny!
When she has a hard time keeping her eyes closed during the prayer she will cover her head in her arms to help her.

Ready for our first day of church at our New Ward
Paisley wore her new skirt I made her to church. It was our first time to our new ward and she looked so cute. I was so nervous to take her to a new nursery and I explained to the leaders that she was so tenderhearted and might cry for awhile. Well, one leader took her to see the toys and she never looked back. She had the time of her life. When we picked her up she was happy to see us but was excited about her fun day. During sacrament I had to take her out in the hall and when she saw the nursery door she said, "I want toys!" Once again....an accomplished mother feeling moment!
I showed her how to put a hand on the hip by posing myself and this is what I get! I love it!
Grandma Marcia would be so proud
When I make breakfast Paisley loves her eggs too! So happy. Grandma Marcia always told us we needed to eat our eggs and that they would make us healthy so I was so excited to tell Grandma when Paisley loved them!
Paisley's new stretchy pants
So I've been in quite the sewing frenzy. I cut up an old dress and made Paisley these stretchy ruffle pants. She looks so cute in them. It's hilarious!
Of course a million pictures. Don't judge!
