Mandi was getting ready to take off from St. George to go back home to Alamagordo when I woke up and ran to her room and said, "Don't leave me!" Doug, Mandi and I had briefly talked about the kids and me going home with her for a week while Doug took the bar but didn't really think it was going to work out. However, the next morning came and it just all felt right to go with her and it all fell right into place so we made all the arrangements and we were off.
We stopped and stayed the night with Bron and Megan as we were heading
out to Alamogordo with Mandi and her kids. This was just a little while
before we left!
Aurora and Elsa! These two LOVE each other and get along so well. We were having a blast taking pictures of these two!

We went to Las Cruces and did some light shopping and stopped for Lunch! :)
I asked Paisley who this was and she said it was her. We love how much they look alike! We knew she would think it was her!
We headed to Ruidoso for the day and had a blast. We ate delicious hamburgers at Hall of Flames!
We went to Ruidoso Downs to watch the horse races. My first time watching live horse races and it was such a rush. It was seriously amazing!

Our 'Before and After' riding the Go Carts. We had a Blast! Paisley said, "Mom, I wish dad were here!" Then she said, "We've never done this before!" She was in heaven and it melted my heart! I wish Doug were there too! 
Our beautiful walk on the Lake before heading back to Alamogordo! We had such a fun day!!!
We were able to walk under the tunnell and go see the horses after each race!
