Oh the things she says and does......

Paisley is growing so fast. It's so fun but it makes me so sad to see her get so big. She keeps us laughing every day and it's my favorite thing to lie in bed with Doug and talk and laugh about all the funny things she had done that day. Here are a few things she's done lately....

*I was pointing to a picture and she was naming who was in it and instead of saying Paisley like most kids do when they refer to themselves she actually said, "me!" I was shocked.
*I'm trying to work on the whole potty training thing and so when she goes I try to throw a fit and make it a big deal so she can see that it's a good thing. Now when she see's me go she yells, "Good job mommy!"
*She got a leap pad for Christmas and sometimes she needs help going through a maze or doing a complicated puzzle. After I complete it she hugs me and with a big smile she says, "Yay, You did it!" It's my favorite thing in the whole world.
*Whenever she does something great I excitedly say, "Good job Paisley" and she'll respond excited too by saying, "You're Welcome!" It's soooo funny! I love that whenever I thank her for something she is so happy to say Your welcome as well. Such a fun mother moment!
*Her little Potty Training toilet sings a little song and says, "Yay!" when it senses warmth or liquid or pressure- like when she goes potty. Well, one night Doug was getting her to bed and I was in the bath and he told me that for some reason the toilet kept going off. She told Doug to listen and when it was done singing she yelled, "Yay! Mommy did it!" We have laughed over this one!
*Whenever we brush her "buggies" at night she'll constantly pull the brush out of her mouth every 5 seconds and point with her finger and say, "Be Tareful- Be Tareful!"
*When we are in the bathtub sometimes her hand or her foot will touch my bum and she'll say, "Oh sorry mom- touch your bum!" Like whoops, it was an accident. Hahaha!
*Paisley will be 3 in 2 1/2 months and she can already identify each letter in the alphabet {mostly the capital letters. We are still working on the lower case} and she can say all their sounds.
*When we walk into Hobby Lobby she will point at the big letter head store sign and say all the letters backwards. Y-B-B-O-L Y-B-B-O-H! It makes me so proud.
*Paisley and I were driving and not even headed to Hobby Lobby. I didn't even say the words but she saw the sign and said, "Lobby Lobby Mom?" I told her we weren't going there and she got sad, "I want ta go to Lobby Lobby Mom!" It's because she always gets a treat there.
*When we were eating dinner she held up her cup and said, "CHEERS!" then told me to grab my cup. She does this a lot now even if it's her bowl of cereal. :)
*Lately she has been acting like a kitty cat or a puppy dog. She will crawl around and tell me to hold her. She'll say, "I'm just a kitty cat!" Whenever I need her to do something like hug me or put on her diaper I'll say, "Come here kitty cat" and she'll actually come. It's quite nice when I need to lotion her up and put on her diaper and do her hair after the bath. It sure beats fighting her for it. I'll ask her a question and she'll respond like a kitty cat and say, "Yeah!" in the tone of "meow!" It's hilarious!
*Paisley was telling Kari and Robert that a kitty cat says, "Meow" and Robert said, "ROAR!" Paisley said no and while turning her finger in a circle 2 times tried to teach him to say, "Meow-Meow!"
*Just this morning Doug had 5 minutes before he had to go to school so he asked if he could hold her. I so bad wanted her to stay asleep but how can I deny him his dream. Sure enough I let him so he kissed her little face and she woke up, put her arms around him and kissed him and then closed her eyes again. He picked her up and she rested on his shoulders. It was so sweet.

Math Circus

{Feb.7, 2014} I have been working with Paisley on her numbers so she will recognize the name with the picture so we drew them up and when she watches this Leapfrog Math Circus movie she puts them in order. All ready for school it looks like. She loves to wear that backpack.
Looks like she put her underwear on herself maybe?

Jungle Jim's Playland

On Saturday we met Devyn, Dallin and little Skylar at Jungle Jim's Playland. It was our first time there and it was like a mini Lagoon indoors! Devyn had us punch her pass so we got in for free. It was so nice of her. The girls had so much fun. Thanks guys for a fun time!

Because I'm pregnant I wasn't able to do or help with the rides much but I had a good time watching Doug with Paisley. Especially on the go carts. He couldn't fit and it was hilarious! They also got stuck in the corner while Paisley watched everyone else ride. So funny!
Stuck in the corner
Doug was so uncomfortable and killed his shins when they would bumped or crashed into the wall!
He is so good with Paisley. She loves these fast rides with him. If I were with her she wouldn't love it as much. He makes it so fun for her! He is the best dad in the world and she is crazy about him!
It was so funny to watch Paisley on this ride. You could tell she was kind of bored! Hahaha

Ready for bed

Ready for bed! Reading books with Mom and Dad! I love how her hair air drys after the bathtub. I just can't get over her curls! We love you Paisley!

Waiting for Dad to come home!

Paisley loves her little glasses and put a pair on me so we took some pictures while we were waiting for Dad to come home! I love her little personality and style. She's my best little friend....of course!
She's the prettiest little thing I've ever seen in my entire life!

More Messes!!!

Oh my goodness. She makes such a mess. She mixes 4 different puzzles together along with all her toys. What a little mess monster!

Sandles in the middle of winter?.....

She always likes to pick out her shoes. We were headed out and sure enough she picked out her sandles. She wouldn't take no for an answer. Freezing cold outside and she's wearing these bad boys. She loves them. One morning she is in waking up Doug and had put them on by herself. In her pajamas with sandles. It was the cutest thing.

My Little Floor Bug!

Paisley wanted to eat her chips we got her at the store so she propped down on the floor and went to town. It was hard to take some for myself. She didn't allow it much! I love this view of her from the back with her doll backpack diaper bag on. She always makes me smile!

Grandma & Grandpa come to town!

My mom and Dad came to town. They were headed to my cousin Ryan's mission homecoming in Elko, Nevada so they decided to come see Paisley on their way. They stayed Friday night with us. Took off Saturday afternoon and then came back through and stayed with us again Sunday night and took off for home Monday afternoon. We had so much fun having them here.

Paisley dressing up cooking in the morning with Aunt Kari
We took off to Midvale Mining Company for breakfast and it was delicious!
Making an organized mess with her toys
Diaper bag on
Playing before Grandma and Grandpa wake up!
Grandpa fell asleep on the couch as Paisley was having him hold all her toys
Grandpa and Grandma took us to a Barbeque place to eat in Salt Lake after going to see uncle Bucks house before Grandma and Grandpa had to leave for home.

Out to Eat!

Doug and I decided that when we get the chance to eat we want to try some new places so we went to The Copper Bowl Indian Cuisine in Salt Lake. It was pretty yummy and we had fun! I wish Doug were in the picture but he obviously took the picture!

Organizing?.......I think not!

I was trying to organize Paisley's toys, get rid of some little dinky things and put them away properly but she kept taking them out of her room thinking she needed every thing she saw. When I came out this is what I found! Yep!
