It's another GIRL

This little chicka is going to have a little SISTER!
We went to the Doctor and had our ultrasound and everything looks good. We watched up on the tv as the physician did her thing. She was very good at it and very informative. Then sure enough she said it looks like a little sister. We were so excited as we would have been either way, but for Paisley to have a little sister melted our hearts. We thought it was going to be a boy up until about a week prior when our substitute doctor did an in house ultrasound and put in her guess even though she said she wasn't very good at it.
My pregnancy has seemed different this time but I still felt like a I was too sick to have a boy. My sisters said their pregnancies were easier with boys so I thought if that is going to be the case with me this better be a girl because I can't survive if another pregnancy is going to be worse if I have a boy this time. When I told my sister Mandi it was a girl she said, "So you really were that sick huh?" Yep...sure was! :) We are so excited. Doug and I have debated on a few different names but then the night before our ultrasound.....confident it was a girl.....Doug said, "What about the name Ellie Inez!"
We loved it. Inez is my mothers middle name. I mentioned Inez to him a long time ago but apparently he's come around. Ellie Inez it is! Once we come up with a name we generally stick to it. We named Paisley early on too so that's just how we roll.
Doug's family wasn't too sure about Inez (hahaha) but that's okay. It's different but not to me because I grew up knowing my mom was Inez. When I told my mom she said, "Oh honey, you don't have to do that." I assured her we wanted to and she said, "Okay, but I want to give you time in case you change your mind!" She was pretty excited and my dad thought the name was cute too. When I told my sister Nikki, she said, "Someone finally did it huh?" (as in naming a child Inez)! What a kick! We laughed and told everyone. Well, we are so excited and can't wait to meet our little Ellie. I'm sure it will be quite a change for Paisley come May 16th but it will be good. Quite a change for all of us I guess. I'm nervous to have 2 children but I assume I'll feel better when I'm no longer pregnant and can tackle all of this! :)
She was very eccentric with her little hands just like Paisley was when she was born. I can't wait to see how similar they are. She doesn't seem to be as active in the belly but then I'm only 21 weeks and she has plenty of time to become so.
