*Talking to my older sister for a few days about how she was confused what to do with her kids in school and which school to take them to as she moved out to New Mexico. She was really weighed down and sad and I was becoming so. I went to my room and knelt down to say a prayer and Paisley came waking in and said, "Mom- you ok?" in the sweetest little concerned voice. It melted my heart like most things she does.
*One time while sitting in the front room the Farmers insurance commercial came on and it sang... "Farmers..." and Paisley sang...."bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum, bum!!" It was hilarious!
*Lately she has been doing some sort of fake laugh that cracks us up.
* When I ask her her name she says Paisley Fowles along with everybody's name I ask her. Mom- Kaeli Fowles or Mommy Fowles, Dad-Doug Fowles and when I point to my belly- Ellie Fowles.
*Once she was in the bathtub and said, "look mom!" Her hair was wet and hanging in front of her shoulder and I could tell it made her feel so special. I remember feeling that way thinking I had long hair.
*I've been working on her numbers with her and teaching her to recognize the number zero with it's picture along with all of them up to 10. Well when we had them all laid out and counting them she said, "Zero-one-two-three-four-five-six-seven-B-nine-ten!" The eight looks too much like the letter B I guess. Thank heavens someone was here to witness it with me. Kari and I cracked up forever.
*One morning for breakfast or lunch I asked Paisley if she wanted cereal or something and she said Chicken. I said, "Chicken?" and she said, "No- Beans!" It was so funny. She loves chicken and baked beans! I got a kick out of the fact that she knew what she wanted.
*When we say prayers with her she will always add in all the stuff she wants like, be nice-no time out- pottie in the toilet- ride the Zebra etc. Well, one night I said how we were grateful we could she Aunt Kari and Skylar and she jumped right in and added Aunt Devyn before I could even get to it.
*She is at the age where she recognizes when I have make up on or a pretty dress and will say, "Pretty makeup mom" or "Pretty Dress!" It is adorable. And when she sees me putting on my make up she has to come put some on too.
*She sings random songs connected together. She sang, "I want to sit on mom's lap...I'll be a sunbeam for him" or the family bathtime song, "Naki on the loose, naki on the loose.....I'll be a sunbeam for him." ????? Don't ask! Hahaha!
*When she counts numbers in books sometimes she's confused with the number one and the letter I so she counts " I-two-three!" because it looks like the litter I.
*She measures everything. "Look a baby one, a mommy one and a daddy one" or else "A daddy one, a mommy one and a Paisley one!"
*When she counts to ten on her fingers and runs out she'll grab her toes and count on them. After 13 she heads back to 9-10-11-12-13 and so on again back to 9. So cute!
*My favorite is when I'm in the other room and can hear her laughing out loud by herself while watching a movie or something. It's so adorable.
*Once when I was in the bathtub I got my hair wet and had it in front of my shoulder and she said, "Pretty hair mom, You Elsa?" and I said, "Ya!- Are you Elsa?" and she said, "No, I'm Ana!" Hahaha! :)
