Early Wednesday morning after we dropped dad off to school Paisley and I took off to Fort Lauderdale to pick up Grandma and Grandpa for Easter Break. They left Utah Tuesday night at midnight and flew through the night so their flight would be here early. They arrived around 10 :30 am! Paisley was so good as we drove around waiting for them. When she finally saw them she was so excited! So was momma over here! We headed back to Naples and let them rest for a few hours since they did the all night flight! Paisley and I took Dad some lunch while they rested and then later that evening once Doug got home from school we all took a trip to Costco! We shopped around, ate and had a good time just being together!

Thursday, March 28thWe all slept in as much as we could! When we all got ready for the day we headed to the mall. It was kind of a chilly day so we had Dean and Deb worried that they packed all their shorts for no reason. Grandma took Paisley on the carousal and she even rode the horse by herself. We had so much fun watching. We all shopped around and then we headed over to Clampass Beach where we rode the little cart back to the beach and had lunch on the dock. It was so fun and we love to take our visitors there!
Paisley had to eat breakfast by Grandpa in the wagon
While getting ready Grandma shows us the doll she spots that Paisley put on her toilet!
Paisley dragged Grandma down to the carousal and when we worked our way down there we find this!! We couldn't believe Paisley was on a horse by herself.

Friday, March 29th We headed to Fort Myers and hit the Miramar Outlets for just a little while until we headed to a baseball game. A lot of teams have spring training in Fort Myers so we got tickets to go see the Twins vs. the Red Sox. My father-in-law Dean is a Twins fan so it was fun to go watch. We got tickets to sit on the grass and it was perfect. Paisley ran around, we had hot dogs and Dean even bought me my twins jersey I wanted since I am a twin myself. I was really excited. My mom always wanted to take Kari and me to a Twins convention when we were little but we never went. It was fun to get my jersey and wear Twins across my shirt! We had a lot of fun at the game and the rest of them got pretty good sunburns except for "hardtotanmyself" Kaeli over here! The Red Sox played the Yankees as well but those tickets were sold out 20 minutes after being sold online so fat chance of seeing them play. This game was perfect and we had tons of fun!
Saturday, March 30th
We headed over to Marco Island! Doug and I had never been there either so it was fun to go explore with Grandma and Grandpa. Dean rented a paddle boat for half and hour so we hit the water a peddelin! Well, 3 of us did! Deb relaxed a lot! Just kidding! Paisley loved it and we all laughed the whole time! We also headed over to a pretty shopping food area and saw all the boats docked. The scenery was beautiful.
I love this picture Deb took of Dean and Doug. I love their relationship!
Sunday, March 31st {Easter Sunday}Paisley woke up and saw that the Easter Bunny had visited. She got a beautiful Easter dress, shoes and hat. She looked so pretty for church! Of course the Easter Bunny brought her a basket filled with eggs, candy, a stuffed bunny, books and bubbles. She was so excited! We went to Sacrament and had a good day. Our ward was split last week and they were still filling callings so Sunday school and all the other meetings were canceled. Two missionaries from St. George spoke! I went up and talked to them afterward and they were very sweet. Neither of them grew up in St. George so we didn't know each other but their families now live there! Later that evening Paisley colored some Easter eggs and then we went down to the pier to watch the beautiful sunset and walked along the beach and picked up seashells.

Monday, April 1st {April Fools}Dean, Deb and Doug were all sitting on the couch so I said, "Well, now that I've got you all together I might" as well tell you..." and Deb said, "You're pregnant!" I nodded my head yes and then said, "Yep!" with a big grin. Doug automatically laughed and said, "No you're not" and as I was saying "April Fools," Dean was in the middle of saying, "I knew it!" Well, he was WRONG! He thought I was because I woke up not feeling well with cramps! No Dean I'm not pregnant! It's confirmed! :)
We all got a good laugh! I got my in-laws but can't fool my husband! We then headed to Fort Myers and stopped in at Florida Gulf Coast University so Dean could get him a T-shirt after making the "sweet 16" in the NCAA this year. He was really excited. We then did some shopping at the Miramar Outlets and then went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. A crowd favorite! We got home Deb and I watched "Dancing with the Stars" while Doug did some homework and then when he was done we all watched our very favorite, "Castle!"

Tuesday, April 2nd
We drove down US 41 and took a trip to the Everglades. We walked down Big Cypress Trail and saw baby alligators, big alligators and turtles. It was a fun walk and I'm glad we were able to go. It was hot but fun. We also saw a bald eagles nest which I thought was pretty rad! Hahaha! I was sad that Paisley slept through it all. She woke up at the end and was able to see a couple alligators! When we made it back the boys went to the PGA Golf Superstore while us girls walked in Marshall's. We hit home and I headed to scouts that evening where we made toolboxes and bird houses. When I got home we watched "Dancing with the Stars"had some KFC and called it a night!

Wednesday, April 3rdWe got up and ready for the day and headed to Campus. Doug had Thursday-Monday off for Easter Break and since his parents were here he took Tuesday and Wednesday off as well. He had a paper due Thursday so he went to talk to his Professor. While he did that we took Paisley to the park. When Doug was done we all took a trip to Costco again! We ate there again and had a good time relaxing. Doug and Dean got a tee time for 3:00 at Cypress Woods and paid for Deb and I to ride along as well. We were all really excited but once we got there they told us that kids had to be at least 7 to go along so Paisley and I headed back home. I'm glad they got to go and that Deb took pictures! These boys love to golf and I only wish they were able to go more! When we picked them back up, Deb treated us to Red Lobster for dinner. It was delicious and Paisley was loving the lobsters. She mimicked on on her own and we got a good laugh! Now when we ask her what the lobster says she does this adorable noise and claw thing! She is so funny! One of the workers even took a lobster out of the tank and let her pet it! Paisley had a really good time and didn't want to leave!

Thursday, April 4thThe dreaded day! We all got up and got ready while Doug was at school. Dean and Deb worked on packing their bags and then Dean, Paisley and I took Doug his lunch. Around 2:00 we picked Doug up and headed to the Airport so they could catch their flight at five. We had a good ride laughing and talking but saying goodbye is always hard. When Doug and I got home I vacuumed and cleaned a little {and of course cried as well}. We hung out for a bit and then went to bed pretty early. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for everything. We miss you like crazy and we are so grateful you came to stay! Paisley was so lucky to have her grandparents come and play and take her on all her wagon rides! Happy Birthday tomorrow Grandma Deb! We love you!
