Ellie's first Dr.'s appt!

 {May 12, 2014}  Ellie's first pediatrician appointment!

Weight: 6lbs. 14.5 oz

Height: 19.25 in.

Head Circumference: 36 cm.

Her first appointment went well but the doctor said that she definitely reached the maximum weight lose he dare see. That concerned me and made me nervous. Until my milk came in, the first night was stressful because she was so hungry and not getting enough of colostrum. Neither of us slept. I finally got a tip from my dear Aunt Dixie who relieved my stress and emotions by telling me to top her off with some formula after nursing  until my milk comes in so she gets full and we get some sleep. I was so happy to hear that and felt like I was going to be okay. Once my milk came in she was eating like a champ.

After her appointment we were on the road to Delta for the night and then St. George the next day. We were in the middle of a move so things were hectic. She was a trooper and traveled well along with her big sis! I couldn't believe I was now a mother of 2! :) Dad, Paisley and Ellie....These are my angels!
