We blessed Ellie on a Saturday at Dani & Wade's house with close friends and family. It was such a wonderful day and I was so happy to have our family there. Wade was in the Bishopric so he presided as member of the bishopric at the blessing.We had a lovely dinner and had such a great day. Doug likes for it to be very personal so we decided to keep it at home just like Paisley's blessing. I guess it will be our little family tradition. I didn't love the idea at first because I'm used to people doing it in church but it was nice to do it like this. Ellie looked so beautiful. Her dress was gorgeous! Grandma Deb bought her a beautiful crocheted headband and slippers but I waited to long to bless her and they didn't fit. My heart sank and I was so sad. Aunt Diane also made her a headband and slippers for the blessing so thankfully we were able to use those! We wanted Paisley to feel special on Ellie's day too so we bought her a beautiful dress, gloves and crown. She was in Heaven and everyone died over her!
